Hey friend, my name is Heather and welcome to my site JuniperMotoADV!

My journey learning how to ride a motorcycle started at the “young” age of 40! The picture to the right is the day I passed my MSF course to get my motorcycle endorsement. The day that would put me on the path to where I am now. I learned how to ride a motorcycle so I could join my husband on a bucket list trip to ride across the country on the Trans America Trail. I didn’t want him to go alone but I also didn’t want to be left out of the adventure. I’m very blessed to have a husband who was passionate about motorcycles and had the willingness and extreme patience to help me learn how to ride both on and off road.

My journey learning how to ride a motorcycle had its highs and low, successes and failures. I honestly didn’t realize riding a motorcycle would challenge me both physically and mentally. Boy, I wasn’t ready for either but I wouldn’t change a thing!

In June /July of 2023 we rode our 250 dual sport motorcycles 4k miles across the country on the Trans America Trail completing my husbands dream of riding this route. It was the craziest and coolest thing I have ever done in my life.

I’m excited to share my adventures riding a motorcycle and hopefully inspire others to take up motorcycling too! It’s never too late to find your passion.
